I'm so pleased you've stumbled across my blog! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Elizabeth and I have been absent from the blogging world for quite a while so please be kind! ;)
Gosh, I can't believe it's been nearly two years since I had the elzybells blog! It took up sooo much of my time with new stamp releases, projects and constant updates that I'm planning on taking it a little easier this time around, I hope you don't mind.
So... what have I been up to? I hear you ask... Well, after a complete break from crafting, which I really, really needed, I came back with a refreshed perspective and a newly energised sense of creativity. I've been having great fun experimenting with some mixed media painting which I hope to share with you in the future but what I am really excited about right now is my fun collection of handmade items and keepsakes. I've been working on some pretty little wooden creations and I have a brand spanking new etsy shop and a highly sought after Not On The High Street store where my creations can be purchased. It's all very exciting!!
You can find out more by clicking the 'my wooden creations' link on the left of the blog or take a peek in my online stores (links on the right).
My initial collection is small but more items will be added in the coming months so please be sure to check back.
As you elzybells fans out there will know, I've also been working as an illustrator for Penny Black. If you missed out on any of your favourite designs, you'll be pleased to know that Penny Black are taking on some of the previous elzybells designs (albeit re-jigged a little).
So in homage to elzybells, I thought I'd share a little notecard I made using one of the latest Christmas sets released by Penny Black; A Cool Christmas 30-128.
... and that's exactly what I did!!
I love this little guy! The large snowflake background is actually a foam stamp that I got free with a magazine years ago. I painted it up with some white paint and sprinkled some really chunky glitter on top.
This is just a teaser as I have more cards to share using this great set next week, so be sure to pop back!
Bye for now,
